Stellis presented its research and development project Stellis Spark at the 6th PP-RAI conference, which took place in Łódź on April 24-26, 2023. This is one of the largest science and business events dedicated to Artificial Intelligence in Poland.

Stellis Spark is a system for the automatic production of sports matches in the hall using artificial intelligence. Stellis Spark uses artificial neural networks specialized in image processing tasks. The system is based on data collection, video analysis and tracking of objects to be recorded, which allows for detailed statistics and insight into the course of the match. Thanks to this, the entire process of obtaining statistics is fully automated. This system can be used by sports clubs, coaches, players, scouts and the media, both at the level of lower leagues and in professional clubs.

Thanks to the fact that Stellis Spark is fully automated and accessible from smartphones and sports cameras, it becomes an extremely convenient and effective tool for the sports environment. This innovative project stands out from other solutions and can contribute to improving the quality of training, analyzing the performance of players and increasing the attractiveness of sports broadcasts. The aim of the project is to create visually attractive recordings of indoor matches, generate action summaries and basic match statistics.

Stellis Spark is a product of the Stellis brand, which was created after the completion of the R&D project entitled: “Indoor Sport Video Production AI (ISVP.AI) – An automated system for the production of recordings of indoor sports matches using artificial intelligence” co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Submeasure 1.1.1 of the Smart Growth Operational Program 2014-2020 (POIR.01.01.01-00-0280/20-00) The team of scientists and programmers from Stellis, who worked on its development and testing for many months, finally had the opportunity to present the results of his research at the international conference PP-RAI’23. Its aim is to create a forum for sharing, exchanging, presenting and discussing original research results in various areas of artificial intelligence.
