During the 5th Congress organized by the Sport Biznes Polska Association, the vice-president of Widzew Łódź, Michał Rydz, spoke as a speaker, who together with Lukasz Gasiorowski – CEO of STELLIS, talked about the digital transformation of the Widzew Łódź Club.
The presentation began with a reminder of the history of the club and the stages it went through during the reconstruction (which took place in recent years). Next, the topic of new technologies in the club’s development strategy and cooperation with a technological partner was discussed. The Fan in the Heart of Łódź – the motto of Widzew Łódź – is very close to Stellis, which puts the Fan in the Heart of the Stellis One System. Łukasz Gąsiorowski had the opportunity to present how Stellis One elements work in Widzew. And Michał Rydz explained the phenomenon of selling so many tickets for Widzew matches, using special modules of the Stellis One ticketing system. Both gentlemen emphasized the importance of the fan base, which the club owns and manages. Thanks to this, he has a lot of data about his fans and on this basis, a loyalty program will be created and marketing automation will be implemented in the near future.
The 5th Congress of Sport Biznes Polska is our largest event for sport and sports business so far, which hosted nearly 800 representatives of the environment. The Sport Biznes Polska Association is a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience and good practices between people and entities from the sports and business industry.
